A store that
moves with people.
Creative direction for an adaptive retail concept, making a responsive physical environment tangible through an experiential prototype.

Digital could respond. The store stood still.
Retail brands could personalize and update a digital experience in real time, while physical stores still moved at the speed of a campaign calendar. I led creative direction and design strategy for a Future Studio team exploring how a store could respond to changing conditions, product relevance, and customer intent.
Make adaptive retail a system, not a screen.
We used MACH thinking to connect the systems behind the experience, then mapped how the store could adapt at the shelf, fitting room, checkout, and storefront. The goal was a coherent omnichannel experience rather than a set of isolated digital moments.
Make the idea something you can walk through.
We developed signature moments around responsive merchandising, weather-aware displays, and reduced checkout friction. Strategy, experience design, and engineering came together in a working walkthrough that made the idea tangible.
Let the concept travel.
The physical space needed a virtual companion. The same adaptive logic could extend into a digital world, letting clients and customers experience the concept beyond the showroom.
A prototype made the strategy concrete.
The Dynamic Store gave Future Studio a tangible way to discuss adaptive retail with clients. Its value was turning an abstract systems idea into a sequence of human, physical, and digital experiences that people could see and feel.
